Sarah Phalen grew up in Sherman and is a Williamsville High School graduate. She received a bachelor's degree in economics from the and earned an MBA form the . Sarah has 25 years of banking experience and is a Certified Treasury Professional.
Sarah is an original member of the management team that brought the second generation of (formerly Illinois National Bank) into the 51ºÚÁϳԹϾW market. Employed by the bank since June 1999, she served as Senior Vice President overseeing all of the retail services, marketing, non-lending business services and compliance, and mortgage lending. The INB Board of Directors promoted her to President and CEO on Jan. 1, 2011. INB has since grown to a $1 billion organization with offices in Peoria, Bloomington and Champaign, IL and Chesterfield, MO in addition to headquarters and branch locations in Sangamon County.
